Kasia O’Neill Murray directs Pew’s antibiotic resistance project, which seeks to address the growing public health threat of antibiotic resistance by supporting the development of new antibiotics and ensuring that the drugs are used appropriately in human health care and food animals.

Before joining Pew, Murray worked at Georgetown University on the Commission on Children in Foster Care, which was funded by a Pew grant. She has also served as an analyst for the U.S. Senate’s Joint Economic Committee, California Legislative Analyst’s Office, and Congressional Budget Office.

Murray holds a bachelor’s degree in urban studies and economics from Bryn Mawr College and a Master of Public Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
