PROFILE

Megan Jungwiwattanaporn supports Pew’s crosscutting environmental policy team, providing expertise and coordination to advance Pew’s engagement in multilateral forums, including the United Nations, World Trade Organization, International Union for Conservation of Nature, and International Seabed Authority.

Before joining Pew, Jungwiwattanaporn was the federal consistency specialist for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), with the goal of keeping U.S. actions compliant with the CNMI’s coastal management program. She also worked as a research analyst for the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, where she focused on ocean policy and marine ecosystem services.

Jungwiwattanaporn holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Chicago and a master’s degree in environmental management, with a concentration in coastal environmental management, from Duke University.
