Supporting good proposals

1 February 2008. The Shark Alliance has submitted its comments on the European Commission's consultation document for a Community Plan of Action for Sharks. 

The long-awaited Plan, which is expected in final form by December 2008, offers hope for some of the world's most beleaguered shark populations.  

The Shark Alliance is working to ensure that the EU Shark Plan provides for key safeguards such as precautionary catch limits and a stronger finning ban.
