The Adler School Institute on Social Exclusion, in collaboration with the Chicago Department of Housing and Economic Development, the Chicago Department of Public Health, and others, will conduct an HIA on a redevelopment plan for the Pilsen and Little Village neighborhoods in the lower west side of Chicago, Illinois. Two power-generating stations in the area were recently decommissioned and the land is being repurposed.
