This feature story in Nunatsiaq News, a daily newspaper in Iqaluit, Nunavut, highlights the results of an archaeological survey conducted by a team from Pew's Oceans North Canada and Inuit Heritage Trust in July 2014. The survey was part of a three-year research project that has documented the biological significance of this region in support of a beluga management plan.
