Vote by Mail in Hawaii

A new poll conducted by Honolulu Civil Beat found that 47 percent of registered voters in Hawaii favor moving to an all vote-by-mail system like Oregon and Washington use, and 35 percent oppose such a shift.

Men favor vote-by-mail in the state more than women, and while 52 percent of registered voters 65 or older support the move, only 33 percent of 18-29 year olds do. Additionally, 43 percent of members of military families oppose the policy, and only 38 percent support it.
