Policy Brief on HIA has Decision Makers Taking Notice

The Health Impact Project's policy brief was developed to give policy makers an introduction to the concept of HIA and provide examples that highlight the range of projects where HIA is being used.  Also included in the brief are policy recommendations that highlight opportunities for government officials to use HIA for important new decisions outside the health sector to minimize risks, unanticipated costs and to help create healthier communities.
