Subsidyscope launches the full version of Pew’s Tax Expenditure Database, housing the complete set of estimates from the Department of Treasury and the Joint Committee on Taxation. The database is a first-of-its-kind, searchable, and downloadable web tool, containing federal income tax expenditure estimates from 10 years of budget documents for all economic sectors, including health, agriculture, education, energy, commerce and housing, transportation, and defense, among others.
The data on the energy, housing, and transportation sectors were released in January 2011. Today’s release incorporates 15 more sectors and completes Pew’s Tax Expenditure Database.
