Economic Impact Report of the Nonprofit Arts Industry in Maryland FY2008

The Maryland State Arts Council has released their Economic Impact Report of the Nonprofit Arts Industry in Maryland FY2008.  Using CDP data from FY2008, the analysis was performed by the Americans for the Arts, based on the model developed for the Arts & Economic Prosperity III: The Economic Impact of Nonprofit Arts and Culture Organizations and Their Audiences.  Serving as a snapshot of the state's cultural sector prior to the economic crisis, this data will provide a baseline against which future studies of the crisis' impact can be compared.
