The Pew Charitable Trusts is driven by the power of knowledge to solve today's most challenging problems. Pew applies a rigorous, analytical approach to improve public policy, inform the public and stimulate civic life.
The Philadelphia Cultural Management Initiative offers access to knowledge and resources that strengthen the management and operations of cultural organizations in the five-county Philadelphia area. The initiative’s resources are available for arts and cultural groups to address their leadership, marketing, technological, financial, fundraising and strategic challenges and to build organizational skills.
The Philadelphia Cultural Management Initiative organizes professional development seminars and provides grants for professional skills development and organizational assessment and development. It also offers technology planning programs, collaborative programming with local service organizations, peer support networks and mentoring programs.
The Philadelphia Cultural Management Initiative complements Pew’s Philadelphia Cultural Leadership Program, and is one of seven programs located in the Pew Center for Arts and Heritage.
