04/07/2010 - More people have been jobless for a year or more than at any time since World War II, and older people are suffering the most, a new study revealed Tuesday.
The report showed that 23 percent of America's unemployed, or 3.4 million people, have had no job for a year or more.
People age 55 and older who become unemployed are more likely to stay unemployed for a long period, according to the report by the Pew Charitable Trusts' economic policy group.
