06/15/2009 - On Monday, June 15, Erik Olson, director of Pew’s food and consumer product safety programs, joined victims of food borne illness on a press teleconference to discuss new food safety legislation moving through the U.S. House of Representatives. The bill, the Food Safety Enhancement Act of 2009, is expected to be considered by the full House Energy & Commerce Committee this week.
