03/26/2009 - On Thursday, March 26, the Pew Environment Group hosted a global warming telepress briefing with Rep. Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.), who chairs key energy and climate panels and Yvo de Boer, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The speakers discussed the upcoming climate meeting in Bonn, the state of play in the international process and what role the United States will play in drafting the new climate treaty.
