Pew Charitable Trusts to Provide $8.6M to Phila.-area Needy

03/26/2008 - The Pew Charitable Trusts said Wednesday it will provide $8.58 million over the next three years to 54 Philadelphia-area nonprofits serving needy adults.

The money will come from the Pew Fund for Health and Human Services, which provides nonprofits with money to serve three groups: vulnerable adults, the isolated and frail elderly, and disadvantaged children and their families. The fund is part of Pew's Philadelphia Program.
