12/06/2005 - The Pew Initiative on Food and Biotechnology hosted two workshops in March and May 2005 on the regulation and commercialization of genetically engineered animals in the United States. This report includes summaries of the ten presentations given, plus a brief overview of the views and ideas that were expressed by participants in the discussions that followed. Participants did not seek consensus, so the report simply captures the range of issues and opinions that were raised.
