Roundtable on the Role Testing Methodologies Play in the Application of Biotechnology to Agriculture

02/25/2003 - In an effort to gain some perspective on the swirl of technology, policy and politics that surrounds the issue of genetically modified crops, the Center for Food and Nutrition Policy at Virginia Tech and the Pew Initiative on Food and Biotechnology conducted a Ceres Invitational Roundtable last year in Virginia to discuss testing methodologies used in tracing, segregating and labeling GMOs. The daylong discussion involved people intensely involved in all aspects of our increasingly segregated food supply systems.
