11/21/2007 - For the fifth time dozens of American Indians will march into Iowa from Nebraska today to draw attention to what they believe is over-representation of Indian children in foster care.
"We raised red flags four years ago. We'll raise them again," said Frank LaMere, Winnebago tribal member and event co-coordinator.
The annual Memorial March and Rally for Our Lost Children will begin around 9 a.m. at the Marina Inn in South Sioux City. After a press conference, the march to the Woodbury County Court House begins around 11 a.m., crossing the Veterans Bridge along the way.
