U.S. Online Teens 'Contacted by Strangers'

10/15/2007 - Almost a third of teenagers who use the Internet have been approached by strangers online, the Pew Internet and American Life Project said in a report yesterday.

Teens with social-networking profiles are more likely to be contacted, even if they use privacy safeguards, the researchers found.
