12/01/2004 - In response to the national debate on the significance of so- called "moral values" voters on the 2004 presidential election, the Pew Forum and the Brookings Institution hosted an event, on November 17, to bring some clarity to the matter.Speakers at the event included Michael Barone, Senior Writer, U.S. News & World Report and Co-Author, The Almanac of American Politics; E.J. Dionne, Jr., Senior Fellow, The Brookings Institution and Syndicated Columnist, The Washington Post; and Andrew Kohut, President, Pew Research Center.
