Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary Fact Sheet


The Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary is a consortium of five Philadelphia institutions created in 2000 to mark the 300-year anniversary of Benjamin Franklin’s birth (1706-2006). The Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary Commission, a federal advisory body, has endorsed the Tercentenary’s projects as the official national celebration.
