Former U.S. Senator John W. Warner (R-VA), senior policy adviser to the Pew Project on National Security, Energy and Climate, will tour the U.S. Army post at Ft. Bragg. The base’s clean energy projects include solar power, combined heat and power (or recycling waste heat for power), biofuels and thermal energy storage. These initiatives display Ft. Bragg’s leadership in meeting the Army-wide goals of increasing energy efficiency and renewable energy across its platforms and facilities.
