Description:
On August 21 and 22, the Pew Center on the States will sponsor a state budget and finance track at the annual conference for Capitolbeat, the association of statehouse reporters and editors. The track will feature sessions about short- and long-term state fiscal trends; the federal stimulus package; and how to use data to drive reporting. Additionally, nationally renowned economists will present new analysis about regional and national economic trends.
