John F. Kamp, JD, PhD, Executive Director, Coalition for Healthcare Communication.

Session Summary:
Calls for transparency in goverment and private industry are leading to new laws and policies that include the biopharmaceutical industries. Whether by state and federal statutes or through settlements in enforcement cases, the relationships between the biopharma and device industries and the prescribers of their products are increasingly transparent to the public, the press, and public policy makers. Three experts in health care policy will discuss how this public scrutiny will impact the the industry and public policy as the nation debates major changes in health-care delivery.
