Pew Comments: Proposed Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement Payment Model

The Pew Charitable Trusts submitted comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on Sept. 8, 2015, regarding the agency’s proposed bundled payment model for hip and knee replacement procedures.

The comments outlined opportunities to improve this payment reform model by including unique device identifier (UDI) information in claims data.
