Retirement Savings: Policy Proposals

Stakeholders and policymakers looking to address the significant shortfall in American workers’ retirement savings have proposed a range of reforms at the federal and state levels.  Pew is examining those proposals with the potential to affect the national policy debate, with a focus on their impact on retirement savings and employee participation, as well as the costs and benefits to plan participants and taxpayers.
