Jim Toomey, creator of the nationally syndicated daily comic strip Sherman's Lagoon, is a believer – in Bermuda's Blue Halo, that is. 

In a new video, Jim and his underwater critters add their support to Pew Environment Group's Global Ocean Legacy Bermuda Blue Halo initiative, which proposes the designation of a highly protected marine reserve in the waters between Bermuda's local fishing area and its 200-mile exclusive economic zone boundary. This globally significant “donut-shaped” marine reserve would protect Bermuda's unique marine environment for generations to come.
