Make Our Food Safe

The Make Our Food Safe coalition includes public health and consumer advocacy organizations, as well as groups representing the families of victims of foodborne illness. The coalition successfully pressed for enactment of the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act, and continues to advocate for the full implementation and funding of this landmark law, which provides the U.S. Food and Drug Administration with improved authorities to oversee the safety of the nation’s food supply.

Below are resources that highlight the coalition’s work and demonstrate the broad support among policy leaders and the public for the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act.
