Recommendations to the 10th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP10) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD)

COP-10, the 10th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), was a key opportunity to reverse the loss of marine biodiversity across the planet. The Pew Environment Group called upon the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity to incorporate stronger conservation measures into the revised targets of the Strategic Plan and to adopt biodiversity strategies in line with SBSTTA's in-depth review of the implementation of the programme of work on marine and coastal biological diversity.
