By accepting the terms of this policy, you consent to the processing of personal data by Pew for the purposes set forth herein, including the transfer of personal information to third parties, in cases provided for herein. You declare that all personal information provided to Pew is true, current, and valid. As a rule, Pew does not verify the validity of the information provided by you, and any request for deletion, update, correction, or other changes must be provided to Pew by you.
The information you provide on this website now and in subsequent applications will be held and processed by or on behalf of Pew for purposes related to your registration of interest in current or future employment with Pew and the processing of your application for employment.
When you request information through this site, we may need to know some personal information about you. You can decide what personal information you provide to us. To help in the recruitment process, we collect personal data about you from your profile, resume/CV and in some circumstances from external assessors. You may choose to provide us with personal information if, for example, you contact us with an enquiry, register on the site, or fill out a resume/CV or other form which may include your personal information.
We may use the personal information that you supplied (including telephone number, postal address, and or email address), in order to contact you regarding our recruitment opportunities and provide you with information about working at Pew. We may use your personal information in order to respond to your queries and requests. The personal information you provide may be used by a service provider to enable us to respond to you.
If your application is successful, the information will be used in the administration of your employment, which may include the processing of payroll and maintenance of time and attendance records or benefit programs with third party vendors. If your application is unsuccessful, Pew may retain and use the information in a secure database which you provided on this application form for up to 2 years to deal with any matter which may arise in connection with your application, for purposes of contacting you in connection with ongoing recruitment opportunities, as well as for data analysis, general management and business purposes.
You have the option to withdraw yourself from a particular requisition at anytime. You may request to access and correct your information. Although you may also request that your information be deleted from our database at anytime, we may have to retain certain information related to your particular application for a limited period to meet legal or records retention requirements in your country. You can update your contact details at anytime by visiting your candidate account and updating your information accordingly.
To achieve better quality in the processing and administration of applicant and employee data, Pew may enter into contracts with third parties to carry out this processing on behalf of and only according to Pew’s instructions. Please also note that when data is transferred to third parties, these parties are bound by confidentiality and are required to keep your data securely.
The third parties appointed by Pew may also use their own third parties (sub-processors), who may be located outside your country or the United States, to carry out some of their processing. These sub-processors are also under the duty to maintain appropriate levels of security and confidentiality and only use the information as instructed.
By submitting your information, you consent to the transfer of your data to The Pew Charitable Trusts, located at 2005 Market Street, Suite 2800, Philadelphia, PA 19108 and at 901 E. Street NW, Washington, DC 20004, and at other locations within the United States and around the world, and to the processing of data relating to you in connection with your application or employment for legal, personnel, administrative and management purposes. Since Pew operates globally, the information you submit may be transferred outside your country of origin to the US as well as other jurisdictions.
