Jennifer Lamson directs Pew’s International Boreal Conservation Campaign. She works with partners in Canada and the United States, including scientists, conservationists, Indigenous communities, and business and civic leaders, to accomplish the campaign’s goal of conserving 1 billion acres of North American boreal forest. Her responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the campaign.
Before joining Pew in 2014, Lamson planned, directed, advised, and evaluated a range of advocacy campaigns for more than 20 years, advancing issues from campaign finance reform to improving the environmental footprint of agriculture. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts
