How to Invest with Us

Donors either invest in our current portfolio of projects or tap our staff to custom design initiatives to accomplish their philanthropic goals.

Whichever approach you choose, your funds will be used to work directly in the field, not spent on building infrastructure. As our partner, you will have access to our seasoned staff of nearly 300, including leading environmentalists; former White House, congressional and regulatory staff; skilled veterans of state, national, and international advocacy campaigns; prominent researchers; and communications and business professionals.

We offer two approaches to partnership:

• Custom-Designed Projects. Pew can design, implement, and manage a sizeable initiative in a donor’s name to achieve specific philanthropic goals.
• Pooled Charitable Investments. For donors who wish to join forces and leverage their contributions in a major venture, Pew offers several options. These range from programs to create marine sanctuaries to projects to help children become productive adults.
